Underwhelming what was the plot again and it was so long for no reason

I think I’ve found my new favourite author. This was such a treat.

Short and sweet and easy to read
slow-paced

It needed speech marks and why did all the good stuff happen right at the end
funny lighthearted sad fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot

Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

If you like the show ghosts this is a perfect accompaniment. This was so weird but good weird
challenging dark reflective slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix

Other than this being so so slow, it was a really good story. The ending I didn’t see coming and I think maybe I should have. Emma is really unlikable and the moral is to be happy with what you have when you have it, I get why this is a classic, it had all the makings of being relatable to any society that has humans wanting to be loved lol
challenging emotional informative slow-paced

The title is misleading this is more philosophy than a how to book. It was so slow so much of it was a slog but it was so well thoroughly written and researched then I ended d up googling a lot of things to learn more about them. This is an important take on the attention economy even if it’s a bit verbose and chunky. The takeaway? Just look up from your screen and watch
emotional funny informative lighthearted relaxing fast-paced

It’s was cute but I wanted to know if the mum actually got what she wanted at the end
funny sad

I didn’t love this one, but I liked the Reddit inclusion and it was funny. Comedy is something the author knows how to do. I would read more of her books
emotional funny medium-paced

This is how you show anxiety in books. This was adorable and quite possibly my fave so far. I’m not sure I’m a big fan of the miscommunication that happened but it fit the plot well.
