I’d be lying if I said I didn’t genuinely enjoy reading this book. I did and I thought it was a lot of fun. But I don’t think it’s very … good? The format which everyone seems to love, and which made it very easy to read I’ll admit, made it lose all sense of authenticity and realism for me, even though those are the exact things it’s trying to achieve. I just kept thinking “No real person would ever say things like this”. And omg the obsession with describing what everyone but especially Daisy is wearing at all times was so so unnecessary and annoying in my opinion. The ending is so anti-climactic and frankly boring? Idk, it was a quick and fun read but I think there are a lot of lazy faults about this.
