If you're not into BDSM then this book definitely isn't for you! If you are then hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as I did.
It's well written and I felt I was going through Beauty's journey with her.

A great, kinky, easy read with a warm and lovable lead male character and a realistic, relatable submissive woman. I found all the characters engaging and felt like I was really in the club.
The story is engaging and left me warm and fuzzy inside!

Fabulous book, and one I know I will be re-reading several times while the messages in it really sink in.
Interesting and accurate thoughts on life, our flaws as humans, and how to live a better, happier life.
I nodded along all the way through this book, my nodding only broken up by sniggers and laughter. The writing is down to earth, it doesn't feel like an 'airy fairy' self-help book, the advice is practical and logical.
Highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone!

A beautiful collection of powerful poems. I loved opening it up and reading a couple every so often and it inspired me to try writing in her style of poetry too.

I loved everything about this book. It's such an honest look at teenage life with the added bonus of the lead character being a butch lesbian.
It covers really serious topics
(teen pregnancy, parent issues, homophobia, sexual assault)
and also the struggles that can come with identifying 'differently.'
Pen's growth through the book is a joy to watch, the flirting and relationship sections are just perfect, the evolution of her friendships and the adjustment of her moral compass are so interesting.
I cannot praise this book highly enough & I wish it had been released when I was a teenager.

Such a raw and moving book exploring mental illness, trauma, growing up, finding oneself, learning to live and so much more. The descriptions of emotions and experiences were both beautiful and heartrending. The artistic use of words and formatting through the book only added to the power of this incredible book.
The final pages gave me goosebumps and hope.
