I was given this short story by the author in return for an honest review.
The story follows Chloe when during her fishing trip, she is whisked underwater with superhero Koolara on a mission to catch dangerous new sea creature hybrid: the Devourer.
The target audience for this book definitely seems to be children/middle grade as was made clear in the language used. The book itself had everything a child could want from a short story! It was fast paced to keep attention, it had superhero’s, cool sea creatures, action scenes and a mad scientist.
I can definitely see the appeal of this story and it is a lot of fun! Chloe was a very likeable protagonist and I’m sure kids will finish this book wishing they could go on an adventure like her with one of the Super Secret team.
