Dipping my toes in to fiction audio books and this was a fun quick mystery that kept me hooked. The ending was a little long winded and weirdly paced but I did really enjoy this.

This book was okay, I am not sure the pacing was quite right and I think the ending felt rushed and confused as the *plot twist* was a little much

Jacqueline Wilson is one of the greatest authors of the modern era and I will die on that hill. I loved revisiting the characters from my youth, and Jacqueline has a writing prose that transitions from young adult to adult beautifully.
Her representation is always so natural and I sobbed like a baby at times during this novel - This was amazing from start to finish and I truly hope she writes more adult novels.

**spoiler alert** I enjoyed this book alot, as someone fighting a reading slump it was easy to read and well written. I did find that some of the characters lacked depth and the message that everyone popular in highschool = bad / my parents bad because popular at highschool was a bit much but overall very enjoyable
