Overall, I enjoyed it! The reverse pretty woman? I LOVED IT. & I loved learning about Stella! and in the beginning I loved
Michael, but by the end, I did have some conflicting feelings. I’m still processing and reflecting on that. But overall, I can see why this book is so loved, and it was an enjoyable and quick read. It is the perfect blend between sweet and spicy.

Camila meets Zach, a jeweler, at an art festival when she’s looking for a gift for her friend. A full circle moment brings them together, and from that moment, we follow them as their romance blossoms. Their romance is sweet, spicy, and very tender.

Camila is our Latina heroine and therapist. We see Camila actively working on her well-being and her mental health. She attends MMA classes, meditates, and has her own therapist. She is also divorced, and this book feels like a second chance at life and love for Camila. Zach is an adorable, considerate, and easygoing guy. Under his carefree personality, we learn about his past traumas and his family. He is also raising his younger sister, and I loved the scenes with the two of them!

Ink is a novella and the perfect introduction to Los Diablos Motorcycle Club. We have Ink, who is un feito and grumpy but, in reality is a huge softy but for the right person. Xiomara is our misunderstood FMC, but she is strong and unapologetically herself. We have a steamy, dark, and possessive romance between the two. Low key, they’re a little bit toxic, but it works for them, and trust me, you’ll eat it up!

Miguel! Our sweet single papi who falls in love with his son’s teacher. We get the perfect combination of dark and light with Lorena and Miguel. They complement each other so well! I loved that we have a midsize FMC who is nerdy and sheltered in her own way. We also have Hard of Hearing and Deaf representation in this book. As someone who is HOH, I loved seeing both communities represented, and you can tell Jade put a lot of research behind this book 💕 We see Miguel and the other members of Los Diablos learn to sign. And we even see one learn as a romantic gesture 🥹 (iykyk), and you have to read it for yourself because it melted my heart!!! I loved that we got to see more of Los Diablos and meet some new characters.

First, the cover is STUNNING! Secondly, after my last read shattered my heart, I needed a book filled with fuzzy feelings and amor. And this book gave me all that and more 🥰 The romance between Genevieve and Adrián was exactly what I needed! Also, how many times did I smile when Adrián said preciosa?! I lost count.

💌What I loved:
-plus size fmc
-bisexual mmc
-Afro-Latine representation
-conversations around mental health
-discussion on the negative impacts of gentrification
-the Spanish dirty talk (!!!!)
-the Panamanian / Central American Representation!

This book follows Luna, an author, on a work trip to London to see her first book become a movie. She ends up sitting next to Henry on her flight, and they hit it off! They think they won’t ever see each other again, but we see how fate brings them back together.

This book had me hooked immediately! I am in a romance mood, and this book delivered. I loved reading about Luna and Henry! This is a meet-cute, and the way they meet had me swooning. I love how fate plays a role in having these two further connect, and now that sprouts into a super cute romance. The chemistry between Luna and Henry is sooo good. I was blushing! Especially the parts where Henry speaks to Luna in Spanish and French.

The book opens on the night of Isabel and Martín’s wedding, which is also Día de los Muertos. Her father-in-law’s spirit visits them on their wedding night and begins a journey of uncovering secrets. This book has dual timelines, and we have multiple POVs. With every POV, we learn more and more about our cast of characters. We uncover their hopes, secrets, and, ultimately, their dreams.

This book showcases that choosing to leave home is often their only option, whether because of war, violence, or better opportunities. I cried while reading this book, and when I wasn’t reading, I thought of these characters and their stories. It also made me reflect on the stories I’ve heard from friends and family.
