This was kind of wild. I can see the Dramione influence on Nico and Libby, and Nico was definitely my favorite. I wish that Reina had been more of a character, though, and the twist rang a little funny to me.

I don't know how to describe this book. Even though it took me 3 whole weeks to read, every time I picked it up it felt easy. Even though it's about COVID and George Floyd and people dying, it's still funny? It's weird.  It's not a happy book but it's not sad either. I recommend it.

I am bad at adding content warnings because I'm not sure how to describe them or how graphic they are but I tried to cover the ones I remembered. There is a pretty detailed description of the main character smuggling a dead body and her incarceration afterwards which I don't think is an option to mark in Storygraph. Oy.

I read a lot of this, but I think between my physical copy being messed up, and the subject material, I won't ever finish it. Important to be honest?

I actually read a fair chunk of this book a few years ago. I was trying to figure out why, so I read a little more.

I figured it out, it's just boring, ack!

I personally didn't find the "twist" that weird. It definitely did feel a bit rushed after
Yeva left the Beast's castle
, but it was a fun read. I kind of wish that there had been more of the Beast's POV, though.

Would be nice if this acknowledged anything beyond the gender binary especially since this isn't that old BUT ok, I get it.

I will never be able to decide if I actually enjoyed reading this or not. But it was a quick read and I did finish it without getting too frustrated by it. Both of the romantic leads were not the best people and the ending felt a little strange. Not bad, but strange. It is definitely not a romance though, I could never figure out why it gets billed that way.

I can't explain why I didn't like this, but the writing style wasn't for me. It didn't help that I was only interested when characters other than Gideon or Harrow were the focal point.

I really liked Neilah by Hannah Moskowitz. I skipped a couple in the middle after a few page. I am really glad that this book exists even if it wasn't entirely for me.
