Reading this book renewed in me a spark that I thought I had lost over the past few months! This was such a breath of fresh air after feeling like I would never be able to find a fantasy I enjoyed reading after the Maas effect. Oh this is a good book, starting the next one, NOW!!

This book had been on the edge of my seat, the ending was a little anticlimactic but overall I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

I really enjoyed this book! It’s dark but there is humor throughout. It takes characters that you would see at secondary characters and makes the story about them! I enjoyed how Kingfisher wove together this fairytale and how different it was to all the other fairytales that we have these days. Also, the puppet was great! Super creepy, super exciting, I would love a side story just about the puppet and Margret and also the demon chicken, I feel like I need to know her backstory as well!

This book was great! It was hilarious, it made me chuckle, I finished it in ONE DAY! The situations and the problems that this family gets into are intriguing and you have to find out what happens! If you like murder/mystery mixed with romcom you have found the perfect book! I usually do not like romcom or romance at all, but I recommend this to anyone who needs a light, funny, read!

This was a cute story, it was very predictable but cute. My favorite part was the focus on the social issues and social problems. Making people aware that there are people out there struggling for survival and for their families survival needs to be applauded.

This was a good read! The story was original but I saw the ending coming… it’s great for a quick thriller/murder/mystery read!

I enjoyed this book, the mystery, the thrilling scenes, the twist after twist. It was a really good quick read! I think anyone who enjoys mysteries or thrillers would enjoy this book.

The story was different but yet similar because there have been so many competition books lately. This one was interesting because it was a magic competition but I feel like the ending didn’t really give you any answers. I know there is second book but I wish there had been some kind of climatic reveal.
