I loved this book so much!! The relationships were well written and the mystery came together really nicely. I became very attached to the main characters and couldn’t put it down. Definitely one of my favorite reads of the year so far.
My advice if you’re on the fence about reading it...there’s a lot of pages dedicated to the charm and challenges of owning a small piece of land, an old house that needs fixing, and small town life. If reading about life in the country makes you want to scream, it’s probably not the book for you. By the end, there’s enough story there that I think it could still be worth it for ya, but the first 150 pages would probably be super tough to get through.
