This took me way too long to get through but somehow was also pretty good? I can’t explain how a book drew me in so much but pained me to get through (more of a personal problem maybe).
The ending gave me Thanos’ snap vibes.

This was a heartwarming tale that read almost like a Pixar movie to me. The characters were very three dimensional. My biggest gripe was the narrator of the audiobook whispers half this book and made it hard to hear while driving or running outside.

I don’t rate memoirs but this one was so good!! It beautifully weaves together her experiences in life and with the history of law. Listening to it on audiobook felt like chatting with a friend about their life’s story.

I adore these characters so much!! This was a good and fast read; I finished it in less than 12 hours because I didn’t want to put it down and didn’t realize how quickly I was flying through chapters. This lived up to the hype of Out on a Limb.

The book read like a Nora Ephron rom-com. I didn’t really feel like there was any groundbreaking revelation and that the book just kinda ended on Andy’s journey.
The last chapter from Jen’s perspective did help wrap that up and put more context to things but to me felt a bit out of place.
