The Dog Who Lost His Bark by Eoin Colfer

I really loved this book. It is the first book that has ever made me cry. There are many emotional moments in these pages, mostly the beginning. The illustrations and the writing style are both heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time.
It was quite a hard read but I am glad I read it. If you don't think you can handle animal abuse or just dog sadness in general, I would not recommend this. But I did really really love it.
