The way Harley LaRoux writes is absolutely amazing. The descriptions, the breaks, the dialogue. Definitely a must buy author.

Much better than book 1. Lots of suspense, lots of twists. Written very well and the narrator is great.

It started off so strong. Husbands death, murder investigation, her as a suspect. I thought that’s what the book was about- solving that case. But no. She runs away, tells everyone back home to stop the murder investigation and then?? We hear nothing else about it aside from her mourning moments. I have so many questions. I’m glad I didn’t buy it tbh. It was good overall but will the murder be looked into? Should I even continue the series?
