mysterious slow-paced

“Binding 13” by Chloe Walsh completely swept me away — and no, I’m not exaggerating. I’m still trying to piece my heart back together after this emotional rollercoaster. It felt like stepping into a parallel universe, where every page pulled me in deeper, and the details — so carefully and meaningfully written — made me live the story as if it were my own. 📖💫

Shannon… oh, my dear Shannon. She’s not just a character. She’s flesh and bone, pain and silence. Coming from a home where true bullying hides behind walls that should protect her, she was shaped by loneliness, by a lack of love, by screams no one hears and wounds no one sees. Reading her story felt like hearing the muted cry of so many who live that same harsh reality. She’s delicate, but made of steel. And watching her fight to find herself, to trust, to love… it broke my heart and gave me hope all at once. 💔🌷

Then there’s Johnny. The rugby prodigy, with the world at his feet and, paradoxically, no time to truly live the youth that was stolen from him by pressure and expectations. Always so focused, so driven, that somewhere along the way, he lost himself. 🏉🥺

What touched me deeply was the moment these two broken worlds collided. It’s as if the universe finally decided to give them a chance. It wasn’t love at first sight — it was something purer, truer, something necessary. A quiet connection between two weary souls, a shared refuge in a world where neither of them quite fits. 💞✨

The way Chloe builds their bond… my God. It’s raw, it’s real, it’s tender. It’s not picture-perfect or overly romantic. It’s messy, intense and full of stumbles — just as it should be when two people are trying to heal each other without knowing how. ❤️‍🩹

I’ve finished this book with a full heart, even if slightly shattered. “Binding 13” is so much more than a teen romance. It’s a plea for empathy, a tribute to emotional growth, and a love letter to second chances. And me? I’m completely and utterly hooked… and already counting the days until I can hold “Keeping 13” in my hands. I need more. More of them, more of this journey, more of everything. 🫶🌙📚

I just finished Lessons in Chemistry and my heart is still so full! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a wonderful, smart, and unexpectedly moving read. It’s not just a book about a female scientist in the 1960s — it’s about being a woman, period. And about how the world keeps trying to fit us into molds that were never made for us.

Elizabeth Zott is absolutely brilliant. A determined, sarcastic woman with zero patience for social conventions — she just wants to do her job with dignity and be taken seriously in science 🧪. But of course, in an era where being a woman was already a “problem,” being a smart one made things even harder. The way she stands up to sexism, injustice, and the constant judgment… I wanted to applaud her so many times — and scream in frustration at others!

But the book isn’t just about struggle. It’s light, witty, and full of unexpectedly sweet moments. Six-Thirty, the dog? One of the most emotional and sensitive voices in the story (yes, a dog! 🐶). Her relationship with her daughter? So raw and powerful. And when she, against all odds, ends up hosting a cooking show on TV… it was simply brilliant. Because there, between recipes and pans 🍳, she kept teaching science — and more importantly, she taught women to believe in themselves.

I laughed, I got emotional, I reflected, and I felt genuinely inspired. It’s one of those books that reminds us how far we still have to go, but also of the power of persistence, knowledge, and authenticity.

By the end, this quote stuck with me: “Women are not small versions of men.”

We are unique, complex, and we deserve to take up space — whether it’s in a lab, a kitchen, or anywhere we choose to be.

If you haven’t read this book yet, do it. You’ll come out of it more aware, more inspired… and maybe seeing the world with just a little more chemistry ✨

🐱 The Full Moon Café 🌌

If you love cats, astrology, and that magical vibe, this book seems promising… but it falls a little short. 🐾✨ The premise is super captivating – a café that mixes astrological mysteries with little moments featuring cats that seem to hold secrets – but the execution wasn’t as strong as I’d hoped.

It’s a light read, with a cute and relaxing tone, but without major twists or memorable moments. 📖 It’s not bad, just… “okay.” It feels like one of those books you pick up to unwind between more intense reads.

I’m giving it 3 stars ⭐⭐⭐ because it was enjoyable and had potential, but it didn’t shine as much as I expected. If you’re passionate about cats and a fan of astrology, it might be worth giving it a shot! 🐈♍

Have you read it? I’d love to know if you felt the same or if it captivated you more than it did me! ✨

Review of Later by Stephen King

5⭐ – A story that stays with you… even later!

If you think King only writes horror, think again! Later is so much more than ghosts and supernatural chills – it’s a story about growing up, facing your fears, and understanding what truly matters in life.

The writing flows effortlessly, and before you know it, you’ve reached the end! It’s an easy read, but don’t be fooled – it will definitely make you think. We follow Jamie, a boy with a “special gift,” who reminds us that the answers to our problems don’t always come straight away… sometimes, we only figure things out later. And it’s in that “later” that everything begins to make sense.

It’s captivating, heartfelt, and yes, a little creepy at times (it’s King, after all 😅), but it never loses its humanity. If you enjoy well-told stories with plenty of soul, this one is a “must-read”!
