I must say that after finally reading this book, it was awesome. I listened to the audio book, and it made it ten times better than reading the physical copy.

The writing was awesome, and I think that the audio book helped me to pronounce the names of the characters.

It’s hard writing a review without spoiling it. But the book kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Not my cup of tea. Wasn’t bad, but I wanted to skim so bad while reading this.

But who knows? You may like it.

Not saying I didn’t like it, but I can’t call it a fave. I love Riggs writing style.

I hated the dad and the mom. Not because the didn’t believe their son’s stories about the Peculiar, but because you could tell that their relationship was a life of pretend.

The main character was okay; nothing spectacular.

Honestly, I don’t know what else to say about this book. I might continue the series but I haven’t decided yet.

Reading the series for the first time. Wish I would’ve read it sooner. Enjoyed it, but not as much as I think I would’ve if I read it as a kid.

As usual, J.Patterson did not disappoint. I will admit that it took me a chapter or two to get into the story. I almost returned the audiobook to my local library, but I'm glad I didn't.

It's a good book for young adults. It is a light thriller, and you will enjoy it every step of the way.

After avoiding this book for a while, I'm so glad that I read it. Any book that can make me cry is an awesome book. I balled throughout the last part of the book. The raw emotion and the beautifully lyrical sentences in this book is what kept me reading.

I will admit that going into it, I did not think I would finish the book. Not because it was bad, but simply because I had picked up the book so many times without ever opening it.
Turns out, it is now one of my favorites for the year.

I connected vaguely with the main character because although I did not do what she has done specifically, I do have moments of my life that I have blocked off. Needless to say, I did not see where the book was going. I tried to guess and ultimately failed. But the character development of the main character was great...she didn't end the book anywhere near her thought process at the beginning.

2018 FAVORITE!
