This cover is ugly. This petty bullshit about not talking to one another and listening to what everyone else says instead of asking the other person straight up is so annoying. i like this book but damn why is it so drawn out like there’s too much happening this did not need to be so many books long.

It was good but then it just got a little annoying. I started skimming through closer to the end. Shit got repetitive. plus we don’t even get like a resolution frfr since it continues with the other brothers.

After the first two books I was looking forward to seeing them as a couple but there was so much petty miscommunication bullshit happening that I was just getting frustrated. Literally every problem they had could have been avoided if they talked to one another.

There was too much happening in my opinion. Plus them being in high school was just not really it for me… like stuff like this doesn’t happen in high school book or not.

Also I prefer this cover over that dude on the other two.

Also the fake dead mom thing just to turn around and have her die again…. Why? Weird. Seems pointless… I liked it better when her mom was dead the first time it was less drama on the already insane amount of drama going on. Plus like… her mom pawns the ring then just leaves all that money? No, an addict would never do that.

I am in my single dad romance era.

Winnie and Dex were cute but Hals and lune made the book a 10.

This would have been 5 stars if they had just talked to each other to begin with instead of her having to leave for him to realize he loved her.

I really didn’t enjoy this that much. There was no emotional connection to me. They started off by saying how much they liked each other in their inner monologues and then jumped straight into hooking up and sneaking around. Mack kept saying he couldn’t give her all she wanted because of his kids and blah blah blah. Then he kept saying how her dad was his boss and yet by the end we don’t even get the conversation of oh hey I’m marrying your daughter?? Her relationship with the kids is more detailed than her relationship with him. All she does is hook up with him and make him food… what is this fucking 1920? Also fuck his mom for being all you can’t just date women now that you have kids. Just be happy if he is happy you old bitch.

I enjoyed the book the only reason I’m not rating it higher is because the custody battle was such a large part of the book and I did not like how every time something was happening I was constantly thinking it was going to be ruined by the mother coming into the picture.
