I the only reason I took a star off was because of the drama at the like last 6%
Why wouldn’t she have said something to Winn the first time that bitch took her son out of the daycare??!?

I loved this book though. I wish I could see this house of windows and eat his Mac n cheese it sounds magical. When her parents showed up and he instantly went out to protect her. Ugh. Swoon. OMG and when he got upset that her “best” day with him was just a normal day of how she should be treated.

wtf was the last 5% seriously… like fr. That shit was unnecessary.
How did he not notice she was pregnant until his friend pointed it out fr though? Men cannot be that dumb.

When he replaced her chair at the office because he saw she hated it! Ugh!
Then he shows up to the nanny interviews to make sure she makes a good choice. Too cute. Then he installs cameras in the house so they can make sure everything is okay while at work! And he lets her sleep and they go into work late because he knows she has a hard time sleeping more than a couple hours! UGH

This book was extremely difficult to read and equally as difficult to put down. The first ~300 pages are extremely gruesome and hard to get through. I feel like the ending was very sudden and almost rushed with how much we had to go through at the start of the book.

I had an uneasy feeling for a very long time during the book. The extremes that Addie went through are a lot. I understand the significance of explaining it and how real it truly is for some people in life but it did not make it any easier to read.

It’s the type of book you have to watch a children’s show after just to get the images out of your head so seriously be mindful of the trigger warnings.

Spoilers…

Can’t lie I was stressed. I did NOT see that coming for who was behind everything. I was WAY off in my guess. Sorry Steven. Literally though I loved this book. I wish there was more coverage at the end after everything with her and Steven basically shutting all the nut jobs down over not believing her.

Roan Cady and Aspen are the literal cutest. I loved Cady and Charlie too omg too cute. I wish we could have gotten a bit more from the boys in the epilogue though. Aspen went through so much and I’m glad she didn’t try to run when she was found out in the new town.

Now, I did hate tender heart as a nickname can’t lie. I wish it was something else

I cried too much during this book gosh it was too cute.

Spoilers ahead

I was kind of shocked that the lady he fired at the beginning didn’t make another appearance in the book. I wish it would have shown him adopting Dylan after they got married too honestly.

This book was literally so cute though. I loved that she finally let him help her and took the job and moved in with him. It was fast paced insta-love vibes for him but she was reluctant to open up. Dylan was absolutely hilarious.

It’s a book so clearly not realistic. The reason I took a star off is simply because it was too unrealistic. Which I don’t mind at all because again it’s a book.

Spoilers maybe…

I loved this book honestly. I love when the FMC doesn’t care what title the MMC has and just speaks freely. But a king… I may be bold but I’d also be a little hesitant

Very cute fast paced story. Super quick read. I wish she would have made baby daddy sign his rights away before she left him. I always hate when they don’t make the dead beats do that immediately. Mans didn’t even want to be on the birth certificate that should have just told her she needed to run. (Or when he wanted her to get rid of it…)

I do wish that there wasn’t so much focus on Mav and Margaret - i haven’t looked but if I had to guess they each get a book? Or at least Mav gets a book since we got the “they’re together” for mar? I love interconnected standalones but I just want to enjoy one couple at a time and not be so distracted by what the other couples are going through at the same time. There’s a balance, hinting at it through the book. Just not constantly blasting it.
