The end is the only reason this got 3 stars for me. This book had too many things going on. I HATED the fact that she was fucking Lucien the whole book. It made everything overly complicated. We have all these little side quests going on that I don’t actually know the main plot of the book anymore… is it the war that maybe the elders are controlling? The new tunnels with hybrids? Her missing childhood memories? The only female dragon aspect? THE PROPHECY?

Like what am I actually trying to figure out right now?! I feel like the book should not be this fucking confusing. I can’t lie. I almost stopped reading on more than one occasion but I really wanted to get some answers. I want her to tell them she’s a fucking dragon but what about the fucking curse or whatever the guy put on her? I’m just very confused.

I honestly don’t think I knew what was going on or whose team I was supposed to support. There’s the typical “you’re the chosen one” vibe without knowing all the information because it’s so much better for the MC to discover everything on their own than for the person who knows everything to tell them.

I’m genuinely confused. I’m not really feeling any connection between the characters at all. The men all just use to fmc for some reason and of course we don’t know their reason half the time.

Honestly I’m struggling with the whole humans and supernaturals at the same school. I just feel like it takes away from the excitement of unlocking her powers. She can’t share it with half her friends… hate that. Also her friends are lowkey a little annoying.

I like the book but don’t love it. It is extremely slow moving. She still doesn’t have full control of her power but we also rarely get to see the training aspect of it. They should all be expelled honestly because when tf do they go to class actually? It’s like every scene jumps straight through the week and it’s the weekend. I really hate the whole I want you but we have to wait bullshit honestly. I’m also still confused by a lot of stuff.

It’s very low drama. There’s drama but it’s not stress inducing drama

2.5⭐️ maybe 3 if you like reading the same stuff over and over

I’m conflicted. I liked the series but I feel like it started to drag at the end after the whole take down. Also by the last book in the series ~80% in she should not be saying how she doesn’t know much about her mates. I think that’s ridiculous lol

I started to skim a lot after the 80% mark. It was mostly them all hooking up but it was basically the same thing over and over. Also it was cringe af when she and Mr. Dragon mated fr fr.

Also she still barely has control through most of the book? Then she is now researching ways to find power or some shit like that… I just don’t get it. It was truly frustrating

The book basically went… *flashback* he’s an asshole to her. *present time* he’s an asshole to her, he doesn’t want anyone to have her so he ruins her life, then wonders why she’s not in love with him. Then is nice just to be an asshole again. Then they’re in love.
