This book literally made me feel all kinds of emotions. The ending made me jump straight into the next book with no hesitation. This girl really did test my patience though she’s irritating sometimes lol. I mean how is she gunna run off, nearly die and then starve herself to get their attention. Gosh she was stressing me out so much.

Stress. That’s what I felt the most through this book. I wish I could slap her honestly. This girl really has a death wish it seems like. I am glad that it all worked out and she didn’t fucking die but holy shit she is just asking for that to happen half the time.

I was completely thrown off by epilogue 2, what was the point of that besides plugging the next book… felt weird.
I liked the book I did think it was a bit strange that she was so comfortable with the crime she committed. I get it was for a good reason but like damn why did her sister need THAT much money?? I get stealing a couple grand but fuck she said buy yourself a brand new car with how much she stole.
Honestly I wish the TikTok videos she kept talking about making were real because I wanted to watch them as I was reading about them hahahaha

This book felt rushed. The was no real chemistry or build up really. It went from her staring at his crotch to them hooking up in his office a little bit later. I wish there was more of a build up or even more interaction in general leading up to that or even after.
He was so obsessed with just hooking up thats really all they did together. Every conversation or meaningful thing they learned about each other was post-fuck!? Like the time when they were actually gunna get to spend time with one another he had to leave for a work emergency and then she gets dumped as soon as she’s back?
Also I get they were in love or whatever but like how did she just assume he would let her move in. Then she just so casually throws the I love you out there and he barely reacts.
The book just seemed unrealistic overall.

Feel like I was gaslit by TikTok to read this book. All the quotes I saw on TikTok were convincing but as I was reading the book I was almost bored. They kept saying they were enemies but had like 2 interactions before they hooked up? On top of that we had all kinds of “stories” or memories that we got bits and pieces of…
For example her going undercover and her sister almost dying.. that’s all we got no depth whatsoever. Yet the Albanians played this big role in the book and her life? It just was weird to keep mentioning the same thing over and over but not elaborate.
Genuinely the quotes I saw on TikTok got me really excited to give this book a chance and I am sad that it wasn’t as good as I hoped.

There’s no real plot. it’s basically just smut cover to cover with some action. Not that it’s a bad thing but it’s just really long for it to be just that.
Also a few of the scenes are just so unrealistic. She was kidnapped had fingers, toes, and ribs broken. was stabbed and tied up with literal barbed wire yet she can go on a killing spree right after? no food or water in her system? okay sure.
then diesel gets mad she “left” when she was kidnapped when she only did it bc she got a text from one of them… weird.
Oh and how were the windows bullet proof at one part of the book and not when she was with the guards ab to get kidnapped? really…

Kind of annoyed with how she just kinda keeps getting all “you’re gunna have to really show me you care for me to forgive you” just to be dropping her fucking panties for them 10 seconds later… this bitch really can’t figure out what she wants. Same with her wanting to be a badass but then screaming and crying a second later. I mean don’t get me wrong I get it but she talks such a big - cringe as fuck - game then seconds later “NO PLEASE” with tears stinging my eyes…
Also and this has been pissing me off for a while, she will say something about someone in their life and then they’re like yeah you’re right BUT here’s this really sappy story about why they are that way to make you feel bad about saying anything negative about them. Like Ari they let her talk her shit then they were like we owe her though so you’re gunna have to deal with it.
