I struggled through the first half and had to take a day off to read another book (which was absolute fucking garbage) but I really liked the last half. I’m not sure if it was because it was really great or if I was just coming off an absolute pile of shit before this. Either way I can’t wait for the rest of the characters to hopefully get books because I love the whole group! Angelo my baby

Super cliche. She refers to his lines being very “hallmark” (ya know the over cheesy movies and shit) yeah she is 100% right. It is a little cringey at times. Not sure why his mom fucking hates her but whatever fuck that cunt she can just go be with her own husband for all I care.

Personally I wish he groveled for longer. I like what he did I just think it could have been more push back from her. But I just feel like she caved after the first “date”

Also I wish we had more interactions with all the brothers and their wives.

I was pretty much stressed the whole book though so I genuinely cannot rate it higher than 3 ⭐️

Groveling was like 4/10 for me. I wish she would have stood her ground more instead of caving to physical affection immediately just because “her body still wanted him” bullshit. I like what he did I just think it was the execution. He immediately wanted her to just accept the apology and take him back because he did 1-2 things to show he was trying… sir it’s been 10 minutes that’s not really changing. Then it was like “it’s been three weeks since…” and then she just lists off all the stuff he does. Why do we not get to see those things actually playing out. Because it hasn’t been 3 weeks for me it’s been 3 pages and that simply is not enough.

Honestly I didn’t really like their relationship for the majority of the book. He constantly reminded her that he “owned her” because of their deal and it just pissed me off every time. He also kept being seen with his ex fiancé in public and kept her picture on his nightstand for way too long. I know he didn’t still love her but still it was annoying that he was reminded his wife that he owned her but didn’t love her while keeping a picture of him and his ex by the bed they shared every night.

I did enjoy the fact that she didn’t just cave after the first “I’m sorry I’ll never do it again” though she fucked him way sooner than I would have but it’s fine bc she then pulled her head out of her ass and made him work harder.

They fuck a lot but I thought all omegaverse books were like that tbh so all the reviews saying it was constant fucking…. Yeah? Don’t get me wrong when done wrong it’s annoying as fuck but I like how the scenes were written and there were group scenes as well as individual coupled scenes. I LOVED the primal scene and seeing people drag it for how it’s not the way the thought primal play was supposed to happen…. He was clear up front about what was going to happen and they both loved it… I thought it was hot personally.

I loved how they constantly reassured her and could tell when she was getting in her head and out a stop to it and made her feel safe. I hated her fucking mom and personally it would have taken a LOT more than 1 apology to make me forgive her.

I was geeked as hell when I started this book. I did not know it was an actual series. I assumed it was an interconnected standalone series when I started this book. The book wasn’t bad necessarily I just did not like the way it was written. It was like “oh we’re going to the tower. The tower is….” And it was like that for everything. The “what happened 4 years ago” could have been a prologue and then we jumped into chapter 1 but nope it was like chapter 3 which was weird. Also I feel like it was super predictable and no one should be shocked by the way this one ended… like? Was it not obvious? Am I super genius? I do not think so

Honestly it was too chaotic for me. Everyone is out for her so it’s like I couldn’t focus on what was happening because I was just trying to dissect what they were saying to try and tell if they were genuine or bullshitting.

Also there’s literally no shot the characters are over 18. It’s ridiculous. They could have literally solved all their problems and been bonded or mated or whatever the fucking word should be when she met him at the park. Also I don’t like how they say mate all the time when they’re talking about fucking. It’s confusing as fuck. Like “you’re my fated mate. we mated but you’re not my mate.” that’s just too much.
