Insta lust or love with every “mate” she has I mean she hooked up with one the day they met… in the car after just letting him into her apartment like they knew each other forever. The dialogue is juvenile. I HATED the footnotes bc I can’t highlight them with the text. Like they were just additional inner monologues just put it in the fucking text like everyone else does…. I don’t get why they are footnotes. Footnotes are meant to define or help understand something? these were like “his name was bob 1” *clicks the 1* “or Dave” like what the fuck was the point of making that a footnote. JUST PUT IT IN THE SENTENCE

Big fat DNF I made it 143 pages and was skimming half the time. They’re both sociopaths. Thought I was about to read about how they killing left and right and blah blah blah yeah no she gets abused my her aunt and uncle and just takes it bc her pussy ass little cousin.

There’s flashback chapters which are fucking pointless. The chapters themselves are like 20+ pages each. The amount of useless detail put into the book is ridiculous. I truly do not need to read 4 paragraphs describing the most basic white male.

I wanted to come back and finish this book but skimmed through some reviews only to find out the entire book is just repeated over again after the first 150ish pages. She gets brutally abused by her aunt and uncle AGAIN and she just accepts it because her “poor little cousin.” Literally for the bitch to be this “cold killer” with a “darkness” in her she sure as fuck lets worthless people push her around.

I liked it and I don’t normally read books with kids or pregnancy tropes because I hate them. I did not like that she was freshly 18 and he kept talking to her like she was a hired nanny not his wife.

They all kept doing it saying how he needed a break yet she is a kid herself. It just bothered me that it never felt like she got the true appreciation from everyone or they didn’t show it TO HER. They would all tell him how she did such a good job and fixed all their problems but nobody ever told her that. They should have all been praising her.

. I really enjoyed Mikhail and Bianca’s story

I wish all the books in the series were longer and more in depth. I feel like waiting til the end to tell her about him watching her shows was not the best choice. I wanted to see more of her reaction to it. I also wish we could have seen more of them interacting like with other people or having the men see him openly touching someone and them freaking out about it since he doesn’t touch people. It’s almost like their whole relationship minus like 2-3 scenes was just them in the apartment.

I also wish that his past wasn’t shared by someone else. Idk I just really hated that. I get it’s not something he wants to talk about but still.
