I wanted to like this book, but the writing style was just not for me. I couldn’t connect with the main character and I was just so incredibly bored. The chapters were also wayyyyy too long. Or at least they felt like it. I can see what the author was trying to do and I think this is 100% a great book, it is just not for me!!

I cringed a lot. I skimmed a bit. There were some boring parts. There were A LOT of cringey parts. The first 65% was incredibly boring but after that I was entertained until the very end… it was good but I was waiting for it be great. I will def try out another book by Elena Armas though 😄
