this was a great insight into the Drengir!! the situation with them isn’t really covered in the main THR novels besides Into the Dark, which is only the beginning of the problem anyways, so it was good to see that situation developed! I really like Keeve, she’s definitely imperfect but her humour, I feel, added to the story. I hope to read the next volume soon!

well, that was traumatic. besides that, I’m honestly kind of at a loss for words. I finished this is two days after anticipating it for months and I don’t really know what to do with myself now. I tabbed my copy and ran out of blue “sad moments” tabs. it was great, not in the ways the other two adult THR books were, but great nonetheless. Marchion Ro remains a compelling villain, although the Nihil as a whole are slightly confusing for me at the moment. this book still had heart, with Elzar and Stellan’s friendship, as well as Bell and Burryaga’s, being highlights and the crew of the Vessel being a true joy to have back. Geode is awesome. however, it was mostly one tragedy after another. I enjoyed reading this and it kept me very interested, if purely because I needed to see the events my dread was warning me about play out lol. I’d recommend it!!

I don’t often rate books half stars, but this book doesn’t deserve 3 stars or 4 stars in my book, so I chose the in between. I liked it, but definitely not as much as I expected to. I enjoyed Red, White and Royal Blue more, for sure. however, I did still like quite a few elements of this book. I liked August and how she grows throughout the book, from being really in the background, I suppose, to being someone unafraid to attract attention. I liked Jane and how much of a fighter she is, but also how she’s actually a cinnamon roll. I loved the side characters, they added a lot to the story. but most of all, I loved the setting. I’ve never personally been to New York, but I definitely hope to someday, and this book only set that further in stone. I loved the atmosphere of this book, how queer it was, how wacky it could be at times. so, sure, did it let me down slightly and not shock me as much as I expected? yes. was the end a bit abrupt and blunt, in my opinion? yes. did bookstagram hype it up far too much? yes. but I still enjoyed it, despite taking two weeks to read it, and once I got into it, I stopped looking at how long the chapters were. that doesn’t happen often for me, being someone who likes short chapters lol

I think this volume was heavier than other Ms Marvel volumes, but that’s not a bad thing, not at all.

this was definitely my favourite volume. the tension was up there and frankly, I always love when superheroes are forced to have conversations and thoughts regarding morals and doing the right thing. gosh, I thought reading these comics would just be a fun pastime to boost my reading goal count but I’m actually really enjoying these 😂

I think this is likely my favourite volume so far!! Carol’s appearance was super fun to see and the ending is so open-ended, I can’t wait to start the next one!

I don’t think I liked this volume as much a volume two, but it was interesting nonetheless!! I’m beginning to really like Kamala’s character, which I expected I would since I’m a big fan of teen heroes, and I’m excited for more!! especially volume 6, apparently it’s about Civil War II, which I’m super excited to find out about!

this was better than the first!! seeing Kamala join forces with Wolverine, even briefly, was really cool! her finding out about the Inhumans (which admittedly I know nothing about) and her heritage was also pretty interesting. I’m glad I read this and I’ll be reading the rest of the volumes, I think!

I haven’t read comics in ages, and have never read a Marvel comic. as an MCU fan, I was long overdue, and when I remembered that my library has a few of these Marvel comics, I figured “why not? it’ll boost my reading goal.” I’m not giving a star rating since it’s a very short story, but this was my first encounter with Kamala’s story, and it’s making me excited for the Ms Marvel TV show!!
