Did not finish book. Stopped at 2%.
I did not like the writing style at all. This book made me understand the phrase "show, don't tell" better than ever. There was a lot of telling. I gave up and read a summary online. 

I also found myself annoyed at the protagonist for very minor things. It's possible I may only be able to read books with likable characters.
