I think you’re supposed to root for this second chance romance but I honestly think they shouldn’t be together? I don’t know. Not for me.
The Fine Print by Lauren Asher follows Zahra after she is promoted to a Creator for the world’s most successful amusement park, think of it like a reimagined Disney World. She meets the parks’ billionaire director Rowan who has a complicated family past and things go from there. I wanted to like this book because it’s very hyped and because I’ve read other work that I’ve loved by this author but instead of this being a classic grumpy x sunshine it is more like man who lacks basic human decency with naïve one-dimensional girl. I never discourage someone from giving a story a try but in this case I already can’t remember most of the plot points. I’ll continue the Lakefront Billionaires series from her instead.
