This was on my sister‘s TBR and she said I had to read it first though after this I don’t think she will.

For me, a thriller is gripping if something bad happens within the first 10% here it didn’t happen until 36% and by that time I had stopped caring

I did not need the backstory whatsoever. I became a sex addict because my husband turned down to be gay. Then when I found a nice man who happened to be an alcoholic, instead of telling him the truth I’m gonna tell him I wanna be celibate till marriage all while having sex with my student who turned out to be a serial killer almost on the daily.

Not only that, but he had a serious girlfriend who was accomplice to all of his crimes. Also, if you need special effects, make up in order to kidnap somebody you’re doing too much

So because I didn’t really care what happened I skipped to the end, just to see how it ended, and it turns out the girlfriend was the mastermind and the main killer, and she’s still on the loose which is probably what the second book is about which I have no plans on reading

It was very cute, but not the best Christina Lauren book I've read. I also didn't know this was the second book in a duology when I picked it from the library, so I felt a little lost at times

I should've known after reading the first book three stars and not really liking it that this one was probably going to be the same or worse. What I couldn't handle is him calling her Pringles.

I guessed the killer right away like a lot of other people did but the motive actually blew my mind. It was a little on the gorier side but sometimes that is what it takes to make a good serial killer book

I'm always down for a retelling as long as you know the story of the source material and unfortunately, this time I did not know the story of Dr. Jekyll and Hyde. I also thought the amount of times they brought up the ruby in her throat was a little bit too much. I don't know if that has to do with the story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde but either way it wasn't really my thing

First off the title in itself is a huge spoiler lol

That being said this book was so fucking confusing.
The first half of the book you think Madison did everything then in the second half the author says sorry sike. Vienna's actually delusional and not only has she done everything in the story but she's a serial killer.

The whole Libby thing threw me for a loop too.

However, the biggest what the fuck moment for me was when they talked about exsuming her grandmother's body because they suspect Vienna killed her too. all I could think of was why the fuck would she kill her grandma. She was the only person who loved her.

This would have been cute because I liked the others but I’m a 9-1-1 fan and Eddie’s sisters name is Sofia in that show. So unfortunately that’s all I could think about as I attempted to read this
