I really enjoyed this book even though I’ve never read the original Macbeth. I liked Rocscilla’s character and how she eventually came into her power throughout the book. I also enjoyed the love interest but I wish there was at least one more chapter at the end.

I enjoyed this book just like I’ve enjoyed the other Simone st. James books I’ve read. This one wasn’t as great and I guessed the plot twist towards the middle of the book. It was still a really good read.

The book is a lot different than the movie and I think I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn’t watched the movie first.

I enjoyed the story and the character development that happened but there were some parts where I was just confused.
