I really enjoy Simone St. James’s writing style and how it flips from past to present. This story was very good and I did not see the plot twist coming.

I love Laure and she deserves the world after everything she went through. I loved this book and how it portrays black female rage and the realities of a lot of black girls when we are in spaces that are viewed as being only for white people.

This book was fucking crazy. I guessed the plot twist in the middle of the book but then I was like no that’s not what’s happening and was gasped when it actually did happen.

I really enjoyed this book, and I didn't really see the end coming. I loved the paranormal elements and how eerie some parts of the story were.

My heart broke for Edan. I related to her in a way that I didn't even understand. Eden represents so many young girls that this, unfortunately, has happened to. I am a sa survivor myself, and this book spoke to me on so many levels. I think that it has great representation.

I really enjoyed this book, even if I did spoil the plot twist for myself because of TikTok. I read it in one day because I could not put it down. I wish I could be part of the poet's corner and be Sam's friend.

I think Olivie Blake puts crack in her books. They literally have me in a CHOKHOLD. I will read anything she writes. Two of her books have been five stars for me.

I loved this book and its characters. It was a great Romeo and Juliet retelling but with witches. Sasha and Lev and Masha and Dima absolutely deserve the world.
