I would recommend checking trigger warnings. It has a dark themes and it's presented as a positive uplifting book. I might have rated it higher but for some reason that false presentation didn't sit well with me. I try not to do much online research on books before reading them but it feels necessary with this book.

This book would have been better if it was shorter. Less than 300 pages would have sufficed.

This was super interesting. I like how the authors use stories of victims to explain forensic processes.

This is a YA book and while I always rate with the genre in mind, this just wasn't for me. Some aspects of the plot moved in a weird way and felt clunky or at times like it didn't have a point or go anywhere. I think someone who is younger might like this or appreciate it more and would rate it higher.
