I really really loved this one. I have one thing that kept me from making it five stars, but it's such a small quibble. I loved Brinkley and Lincoln.

Overall I liked it. I saw someone comment that this was like listening to a horror movie through a wall, and it feels really accurate. the suspense and everything was there, but for me, the ending kind of left me scratching my head. But generally, I had a good time with it.

I really liked the idea of all this, I just feel the same I felt after reading the first two. Overall it was an alright book, and I'm intrigued about the author's other works, but I'm not intrigued enough to just sit down and inhale it all. I'm a fan of grumpy cowboys. I'm a fan of headstrong women trying to make it on their own. Not to spoil it much, but I think he went farther than grumpy cowboy. I think most of the time CJ was just a jerk. I liked the family in this one more and I think if not for them, this would have been lower rated for me.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 22%.
I got about 22% into this and I think I'm DNF'ing for now. I haven't had any pull to it to continue. It's rather slow and in parts feels a bit rambling. I've been in a bit of a reading slump, and particularly a thriller/horror slump, and since i have no pull to this currently, it's not helping my ability to pick it up. 3 stars because I can see where this has promise if it pics up

Elsie Silver does it again. Wild Eyes instantly shot up to become one of my top reads. I loved West's story, I loved Skylar's story and enjoyed watching her find herself and her voice. Their romance was so good, the spice was spicing, and somehow Elsie Silver made me cry so much through this. I love love love this.

This was such an interesting and captivating read. I liked the author's attention to detail and enjoyed his personal anecdotes. I have so many more new fun facts to tell people.
Delicate Escape by Catherine Cowles

Catherine Cowles always hits it out of the park. I loved Shep and Thea. Shep dealing with his own guilt from the past, Thea dealing with being on the run from her own past. And Catherine always keeps me guessing on the villain! Such a good story and I can't wait for more in the series.

The chemistry between Win and Bo was great. The comedy and banter was top tier. I had a good time overall with this one. My main complaint is the end felt a bit rushed, but in general it was a good, fu romance.
