some good points but no original ideas, quite a lot of ableist rhetoric too that to be ‘mentally strong’ you need to ‘overcome your disability’ (yikes) because apparently being happy while also accepting your disability for what it is must be impossible, right?

it is weird that mehndi is referred to as henna repeatedly when hindi speakers and indians call it mehndi though. i understand for the title it makes sense for westerners but this book is full of hindi vocabulary but you can’t even call mehndi it’s desi name ?!
