Explain the Cloud Like I'm 10 by Todd Hoff
4.0
This book cost me around 10 bucks and took me 4 hours of total reading time to finish and gave me better insight to the cloud than my grad level course called systems for data science. I realized I wasted $4000 and 5 months on a useless course instead of reading this
The Infinite Game by Simon Sinek

Given that so many startups are popping into existence to disrupt the industry or the market, they should understand that it is not just about the idea, performance or competition that matters. It's about the culture at work, trust between people, having worthy rivals and a just cause. This isn't just a book for a manager or a leader. This contents of this book is applicable to everyone despite the stage of life they are because life in itself is an infinite game and we could all benefit from understanding what this mindset entails. There are some great insights and real world examples that reinforce some of the ideals and virtues that are expressed. It all makes sense but it worrisome that a book had to be written about it. Hopefully once everyone reads it, people's mindsets and work cultures will change and no one will have to dread going to work
Exactly What to Say: The Magic Words for Influence and Impact by Phil M. Jones

Light read but has everything you need to make your emails or face to face conversations work in your favor. Lot of the tricks or phrases are commonplace but it's really good to understand the schematics behind each and the how/why do they work. I don't usually have any trouble getting my point across or building a rapport with someone, but I'm definitely going to try using these in regular, everyday conversations to see if it goes even better. I'm glad I came across this book. This puts reason behind my intuition and I'm a sucker for that
