"He’s too good for someone like me, and yet I don’t let go." - Mikhail

I don't really understand the point of this marriage or why Anthony (Angel's dad) thought Mikhail was a good choice for is son, because I don't see it, it took Mikhail a long time to have character development and when he did, he was sweet but Anthony didn't know that at that point. I understand that Mikhail is hurt by his past but he doesn't treat anyone with respect in a big part of the book. When he almost loses it all, he is hurt that people want to leave him. It's almost like actions has consequences. It took him a long time but eventually he became softer and enjoyed the people around him and his husband. Mikhail is a complected character. Mikhail needed a reality check.

I love Angel and all the bodyguards. Angel really found his way through everyone's heart because he is just really kind, caring and understanding. He was always in love with the idea that someone can love him and treat him right. He wanted that and he deserves that! I love Bane and Teddy so much!

Our family saved me, just like my hockey family has saved me before. - Jules

This was a fun novella full with family and friends moments. Jules, Jamie and Sterling made a beautiful (not so little anymore) family! Those children are so lucky with them as parents and to have a big loving family.

"It’s all different with Torin. I am interested in him as a person, as a partner, as a lover, as a future." - Hugo

"I love the way he smiles when he sees me." - Torin

This book was every interesting and educational with lots of different terms and explanations about the ace spectrum. I learned some new things in this book and I really appreciate that! I really loved their personalities and the way they understood each other. They could fully be themselves with each other.

Hugo loves hugs and cuddles and Tatum gives him that without questioning him about why he wants that. Torin has anxiety and he changed his life in ways that help him with his anxiety, he also becomes friends with Hugo and is at his house a lot and meets his friends.

I received an ARC copy of this book. This is the first book that I've read by this author and I'm definitely going to read more.

"No one else will touch him. No one but me." - Anthony

"It seems I have a thing for dangerous men." - Tatum

I liked the dark side of this book and the friendship between Tatum and Angel. I also loved the side characters. BUT I didn't feel the romance in this dark ROMANCE book. There was a lot of spice (so much that I felt like spicy time was the solution to every 'problem') not a lot of personality in the characters. I just didn't feel this. Anthony wanted Tatum in his house and Tatum was just accepting it, this whole time and all because he's hot and saved him.

"Obviously, Finn isn’t used to genuine compliments, and I plan on changing that. I want him to know how special and amazing he is. If I have to tell him a million times a day, I will." - Monster

"I want all of our firsts to be because he wants them, not just because he’s trying to make me happy." - Finn

I really loved this book, their relationship felt easy, they had a lot of respect for each other and they were very open from the start.

Finn was 'adopted' into Monsters family right away. They were accepting and I'm glad that Finn has more people that care about him now. His grandfather is really an amazing person that made him feel seen and happy that he could be himself. Monster talked about his feelings and that he doesn't really know where he falls on the ace spectrum, he tells Finn that from the start.

I received an ARC copy of this book, this is the first book that I read by this author and I definitely want to read more books by her. I really loved how the characters and feelings were written.

"I want to be everything to him. I’ve never felt anything this intense before." - Benny

"I don’t want to hurt him, but I don’t know how to avoid it." - Rowan

This is the second book in the Big Bend Serie (a small town mm Serie), the first book (Red Zone) is about Dallas, that is Benny's best friend. You don't have to read that book to understand this book, a lot of information about them is explained through Benny's POV.

Rowan grew up with a dad that wasn't really there for him and is very hateful towards queer people. Benny grew up in an accepting and loving household. This book is very painful but also beautiful, with important conversations. I'm glad that Rowan learned that there isn't anything wrong with him and that he found loving people around him and I'm glad that Benny found love and that he has Dallas in his life to talk about his feelings.

I received an ARC copy of this book. Thank you so much!!

"Looking at him made me feel seen in both good and bad ways." - William

I can't describe how much I love this book and writing style, so I'm going to try. This is the first book that I've read by this author and I just feel that she is going to be my new found favorite author, the way she puts raw emotions into words is so beautiful.

I love hurt/comfort so much in books and this book had it all. Make sure to check the trigger warning because I cried a lot. Ryan is so traumatized and William helped him work through that, the level of understanding each other on a deeper level, William made sure that Ryan's boundaries were protected and he gave him room to grow, to start healing in his own way. The situation were Ryan lived with William in it's self wasn't for a healthy reason, William had his own reasons why he wanted to help others but he worked on having a healthier relationship with himself. William is very self aware and sometimes he needs other people to look at the situation as well even though it's hard, he needs to work on himself too in order to do his job and he deserves to be happy, to be best version of himself for him and his partner. I love the relationship he has with his mother and how she opened up to Ryan.

Ryan is non-verbal but he communicates in lots of different ways, writing, texting, showing what he wants and needs. He made a lot of big steps and a big reason is that William sees him, gave him time and stimulated him to slowly open up, eventually he wanted to get help and get better. Both their stories are heartbreaking but there's an understanding between them. It was hard for William to open up about his past and feelings but he kept talking and that really helped Ryan feel less alone. At some point Ryan started writing, making his own food and slowly getting used to being touched. Those are all big steps for him, unexpectedly they helped each other heal and it was raw, beautiful and painful. Some behaviors weren't healthy and sometimes they made mistakes. Nobody is perfect, the characters aren't perfect. I'm very glad that I read this book and that I found this author. I cried a lot and it was all worth it.

Please check the trigger warnings because this was a lot but I needed this emotional book. The mean focus of this book was healing and not the romance, it's a slow burn and it felt right. This book is perfection. I received an ARC copy of this book.

"This woman was made for me, just not in the right life." - Calvin

"Calvin Fitzgerald makes me laugh. He makes me cry. He makes me swoon. He makes me blush. He makes me feel." - Jaymes

There isn't anything wrong with this book other then that I couldn't connect to the characters and the plottwists that I didn't like. This is a quote from the book and it describes how I feel about the plottwists:

"It doesn’t make sense. It’s not destiny. It’s a nightmare."

I liked the first part of the book where Calvin & Jaymes spend more time together. A lot of their story is connected and they really tried to open up to each other. This is the first book that I read by this author and I want to read more of her books in the future to see if she is something for me. This just wasn't the book for me. I received an ARC copy of this book.

I really liked the first 40% of this book, it was easy to read, with likeable characters and their story. How their relationship started felt easy and comforting. They could talk about their feelings openly, they really listened to each other and started experiencing. After the 40% the time jumps started to annoy be, sometimes it felt rushed. It felt like they were inviting me to have a look at their relationship and then closed the door in my face. Although the conversation and personalities were good to read about, sometimes it also felt a bit flat to me, I couldn't really connect to it. I want to read more books by the authors. I just think this book wasn't for me.
