As someone who isn’t a huge fan of romance and never read dark romance before, this book is a bit of me.

I listened to the audio book of The Woman In Me. It was beautifully produced and narrated. The story itself is very informative and heartbreaking. Almost everyone let her down in life. I will say towards the end it had a weird religious turn, but to each their own.

4 stars just because it was a very slow burn, but besides that great read! I didn’t know how he was going to incorporate a good plot twist, but he did even with me guessing with every turn. I don’t love open ended endings but it was okay. I also love how he incorporated places in his first book with this one. I’d give this book a chance if you liked the Silent Patient!

Slow beginning, my thoughts reading majority of the book was wtf. If you like rock music/musicals I think you would like this book. Make sure to read trigger warnings before reading and if you’re squeamish also check for warnings!
Over all not a bad book just not for me, I will check out some of his other books

Great audio book! Sounds like you’re listening to a movie and the story itself is short and suspenseful. I think the characters could of been written better, explained more, but over all great read!

I was told what happened before I even read the book, but it still had me interested. The writing is amazing. Kept me interested throughout the twists and turns. Without spoilers it might be a little bit of a slow burn, but definitely worth it.

This book had me guessing from the beginning and the ending was *chefs kiss* an amazing plot twist! I really hope she makes another thriller. I recommend it to everyone, especially those trying to get back into reading! I do think it might be considered 18+ with the sex scenes though, just a warning.

Truly an amazing book. Though it is fiction, it relates to a lot of problems going on in the world and have been going on in the world. It keeps your on your toes, makes you tense, and breaks your heart all at the same time. I think everyone should read this book at least once.

Kind of slow beginning, but in all a great mystery book. It kept me guessing, it had twists and turns. To be honest, the result of the mystery is kind of both anticlimactic and confusing. Like I said over all good book, so so climax, happy ending.
