It was a nice book, quick read. Nothing spectacular but it was an enjoyable story.

Wow. That was not at all what I expected.
Somebody in my book club picked this book, and at first I wasn't very enthousiastic. When I started reading however, I was pleasantly surprised. Surprised by the excellent writing. Surprised by the characters, how they turned out to be so much more than I could have expected. Surprised by the twists, ones that I definitely did not see coming. The story is so well-written, so well put together.
