A Day of Fallen Night by Samantha Shannon

i feel like i loved so many things this book had to offer (the theme of motherhood, the question of historical memory, observation on how much power women have over their faits etc.) and i certainly believed and still do that the worldbuilding and character development were far richer than in the priory but nevertheless somewhere in the middle it became so tiresome and stodgy which did not help the fact that i was invested only in the half of the main characters (but honestly it's whatever because the book still slays and i will definitely continue with this series because it's one of the best in the genre)
