Title & Blurb: 4/5 Stars
I like this title and throughout the whole trilogy they keep up with capturing your attention. The Light is both mysterious and makes you wanna dig in. The blurb falls a bit flat and I wish it was more interesting but overall it’s fine.
Plot: 5/5 Stars
I love this plot! It’s so interesting and insane, it keeps you guessing as you read it as you try to uncover the mystery with the main character.
Character Development: 4/5 Stars
Both of the characters (Marsh and Sydney) both develop together and grow more confident and accustomed to each other. I don’t enjoy some elements of the ending which I won’t spoil but overall it was great.
Pacing: 5/5 Stars
This book was perfectly paced, it was never too fast or too slow. It was both tense and interesting, I had a hard time putting it down.
Overall Enjoyment: 5/5 Stars
This book is seriously so good. It’s a really fun read. I read about 250 pages in one day. I just couldn’t get enough.

Title & Blurb: 4/5 Stars
The title is both interesting and a big part of the story, the cover is symbolic to the nature of the story. The blurb captures the readers attention.
Plot: 4/5 Stars
The plot is about the main character Guy, he works as a fireman and his job is to burn books. As the story progresses the plot becomes more complex and interesting.
Character Development: 5/5 Stars
The main character develops a lot throughout this story, I’d argue the development of his character is the whole point of this book.
Pacing: 2/5 Stars
This book felt way too fast for me, I wish they would’ve extended this to 300 or 400 pages. It felt like the story was jumping around too fast for me.
Overall Enjoyment: 3/5 Stars
I did enjoy this plot and the ending, but the starting part and even some of the middle was a chore to read through. But it wasn’t bad at all just mind boggling to follow.

Title & Blurb: 5/5 Stars
I personally love this title “No Longer Human” it’s so captivating and true to the story. The blurb does a good job of hooking the reader in without actually spoiling anything.
Plot: 4/5 Stars
The plot, without spoiling it, is surprisingly simple but at the same time so very interesting, I really had a hard time putting this book down. I did wish for a bit more depth and detail but overall it was incredible.
Character Development: 4/5 Stars
The main character, Yozo actually develops in a strange way I’ve never seen before, almost like he’s forcing himself to change. His development dips and rises but ends in a way that fits his narrative.
Pacing: 3/5 Stars
I did think the story was a bit too fast paced and it would jump around too quickly. But overall it wasn’t too bad and it didn’t ruin the story at all I just wish it were a bit longer.
Overall Enjoyment: 5/5 Stars
I do highly recommend this book, I mean it when I said I couldn’t put it down. I finished it in one day and enjoyed every page, it’s such a unique idea and a fun read over all.
