I extremely love this series!! Nick and Charlie are so cute and I loved it just as much as the first!!
I love Penelope Douglas's writing.
I've had this one on my radar for a while and it was so good! I'm usually not into forbidden romances but Penelope Douglas can do no wrong.
This is my third book from this author and it definitely won't be my last.

This is an academic thriller following a psychopath study and it was ok, I thought it could've been stronger and I had a really hard time reading.
I definitely reccomend it to those who like medical study thrillers with unreliable narrators
Thankyou to Netgalley for sending me a copy of this e-arc

(Trigger warnings: rape, schizophrenia, drugs)
What was that..?
I've seen so many people rave about this book and how others said it was 100% better than 'Verity' but this one was a mess.
I didn't care for any of the characters and the story was bad (not badly written but depressing bad) and our main protagonist, Sloan wasn't a good character. She lets herself be walked over by her toxic partner Asa. I was expecting her to fight back and at least stand up for herself but instead she allowed herself to be abused because "it's the right thing."
Asa is awful which obviously he was meant to be but he cheats on Sloan constantly and even admits to later sexually assaulting women. I hated reading from his perspective because he's literally such a shitty person/character
I just really didn't like this but I do love Colleen Hoover's writing.

This book almost put me into a reading slump but I prevailed and finished it!
I think my biggest issue with this book is the writing, I found it lacking and hard to focus and found myself rereading the same sentences repeatedly.
I also found some of the 'twists' to be predictable but the story was ok, I've read better thrillers but I can understand why this book is popular but it just wasn't for me.

It was ok, definitely understand the Riley Sagar vibes but the story didnt mesh well with me and i foind myself bored
The writing was a little dense and flowery for me and unfortunately it was just ok for me :(
This cover is gorgeous don't get me wrong and I think when it's released it'll blow up but I do reccomend for those who enjoyed 'Circe' by Madeline Miller's writing would completely dig this.
It follows the story of Wendy as a grown up woman, married and a mother to Jane and Peter takes Jane to Neverland and Wendy tries to save her.

I found it dragged in some parts but it wasn't bad.
I thought Poppy and Rune were cute but this story was trying to be way too depressing and the dialogue was very weird at some times so I'll give it a 2 star but I'll admit I did cry 60% through this book and I really thought the big plot twist was that Poppy was pregnant *smh*
This is one of the only friends to lovers I've ever read and again, it wasn't bad but wasn't for me. But now, I definitely have a soft place in my heart for enemies to lovers.

Did I finish this book or did it finish me? I loved this, I loved August and Jane and their relationship and the side characters was immaculate.
I loved the magical aspects throughout the story and the sciencey twist. I think Casey Mcquiston may be a new favourite author for me
