OK I loved practically everything about this book, the characters, the plot, the romance, etc. (The platonic love between Laurie and Emily was honestly one of my favorite aspects, would've loved to see more of them.) However there was just something about the writing style that I just wasn't a fan of that really affected my reading of this book.

There were also a few aspects about the ending that I wasn't a huge fan of.

I personally thought that the third act break up was unnecessary and came way too late and caused the rest to feel too rushed in comparison to the rest of the story. I also wasn't a fan of how it happened and thought it felt like too much of a last minute asspull
