Plugged by Eoin Colfer

This one took some time to read. A refreshing take on crime fiction from Colfer, but he really shines when he is writing about Artemis. Though I'd not mind seeing another novel featuring the same characters. I wish this book had more twists and turns.

Well, verrrrrrrrrry long. Picks up near the end. The stuff that happens in boulder is mildly interesting, but the parts with Flagg take the cake :D

very short, very interesting, very recommended if you like hard boiled fiction.

I had high expectations from this book. I kept waiting for something really bad to happen, but the characters were in God Mode and there was never any feeling of a threat that really made me "feel" for the characters. This is the first book by Scalzi that I read, might pick the next in this series if I have nothing better to read.

This is a strange book in terms of lot of philosophy about language and code. Then, there are the action parts where shit really hits the fan. It's hardcore cyberpunk with ample dose of religion, philosophy, and a strange kind of madness. I read a pdf of this one, but i'd definitely love to pick a paper version and make notes out of this book. LOT of notes.

Some parts of the book are really good, but on the whole the book just leaves you with a deeply unsatisfied feeling. Lot of foreplay, very little action.
