I literally SQUEALED at so many parts of this book. Pike Lawson… you are truly something else. At first I was concerned for Jordan because she has had a hard life she deserves better but to know that Cole cheated on her after everything she’s put up with him was sad. She fell in love with the father and he was denying himself for so long because of the age gap… they both deserve to be loved but it so happened that they have a few years difference. I wasn’t sure how this was gonna end but I’m glad it ended how it ended. This was a really good age gap love romance story. Spicy too!

I give this book a solid 3.5. I didn’t like all the grammatical errors that took place, it got to the point where I started to take note of them on my kindle. At first it gave me Adult wattpad vibes and was kinda cringed at this hood love story but you have to warm up to it. Once you are almost half way to the end the book gets so good… the plot twists that I needed came at the right time before I was going to put the book down. I loved the character developments. This was a really good hood love story I read in a while. The last thing I’ll say is that Sunny & Wisdom are something else!

This book was a good. Totally recommend. As a person who had Jamaican descent I enjoyed it so much. At first I didn’t like the third person but it grew on me. The story was so heart wrenching, all the new plot twists the secrets.. the ending! All of it I loved. Will recommend this book to anyone.

I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN! I DONT KNOW HOW PEOPLE GAVE IT BAD REVIEWS. IT WAS A GOOD GOOD, I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO SOMEONE WHO IS JUST GETTING INTO THRILLER AND NOT INTO THAT GRUESOME SCARY STUFF. IT IS NOT SCARY AT ALL…. It was in fact a page turner! Can’t wait to read the next one! I did not expect the ending to be that way. Nina was so annoying at first I didn’t like her was trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with her! Millie was a plot twist for me was trying to figure out what she did that was so bad. Everything came together wonderfully.

This was by far one of the greatest love books I ever read so far. There is so much love, passion, thought, regret… RAWNESS in the characters stories… how they developed as individuals and together. I loved this book so much… it was hard to put down! This was amazing! 10/10. If only I could re read it. It talks about topics that the black community never want to talk about. That’s what’s so good about it. That’s why I love it most. It was beautifully executed.

This is one of the books where you go WTF? I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it’s even better when you listen to the audio of it. It really brought the words to life I was able to vividly picture everything. The ending got me like what in the world lol. I really gave this book 4 stars because it undoubtedly was a great book. I enjoyed that that character was going through grief of his son and how he was able to have another one with The Female. This book came out right after the pandemic hit and it had occurred to me that this was based on the pandemic in a way… it made me think about capitalism, poverty and the lengths that people or should I say the elites would go to to survive. To make sure they make money in any way possible. It also made me think of slavery, human trafficking. I loved this book, it wasn’t as gruesome as it was to others. The only thing I would have changed it the ending… this book could have been even longer. I finished this in a day. Everyone should give this a read. It really makes you think about the world we live in today and how we could possibly end up like people in this book.
