The book itself was like reading the same chapter over and over but I did enjoy the tension of the timeline once I figured out how it was going to end. This was a good “before bed” book, all the sleepy hazy writing was contagious.

I read this book in one sitting, it was so well done and I felt the feelings of the characters so clearly. I really enjoyed how the ending was revealed early, so you could spend your time with the characters looking for the signs of what was coming.

This was a slow burn mystery, throughout the novel you aren’t sure who the hero’s are and your opinions of the characters evolve as you read more.

Guilty pleasure read, I appreciate that’s it’s based on the author’s family experience but also feel the ending is really unrealistic. A fantasy of how we want bad men to act 💔
