Unwholly is book 2 of the Unwind Dystology. I had very high hopes for this book bc I absolutely LOVED Unwind, but I was let down.
Y’all when I say I BAWLED my eyes out… I mean, I literally did.
This book was my first “contemporary romance” and honestly it did NOT disappoint. All the characters were so well developed! I could feel ALL of Kennas pain! ALL OF IT!

While each chapter did keep me wanting more, WTF KIND OF ENDING WAS THAT? or I guess what kind of ending was it not? Who ends a book that way…? I feel like the author just decided to quit writing the book!
This is book 3 of the Unwind series. I’m not sure if I’m being generous with giving this book three stars.
Such a quick and fun read! I absolutely loved Jane. Her character?! *Chefs kiss*
Book 4 of the Unwind Dystology. Well, I have finally finished this series/ dystology. Even though as I’ve mentioned before I did struggle a little through some if the books I can say that it wrapped decently overall. I kind of feel ….. you know, I don’t know what I feel about the way Undivided ended… I have mixed feelings. Am I supposed to be happy? Mad? Upset? Lol I am conflicted. There were some slow parts of undivided, as expected .. but when there were good parts, THERE WERE GOOD PARTS. I don’t regret reading this! I feel with the way the world is right now, it’s very crazy how relatable and important this series is right now. I bet NS had no clue about that when he wrote these years ago!
I finally caved and read this, after TONS of recs for it. However, I was not impressed. This book was a quick and easy read. I didn’t struggle to read it, but they writing style was … basic? Simple? It was very predictable, in my opinion. I will say that I struggled to make the connection between the flashbacks and her present life, until about half way through the book. I enjoyed getting to know Lily and genuinely loved her character. The ending is what saved this book for me, bc YOU GO GIRL!
Okay SOOOOO anywho who knows me knows that I am so fascinated with prisons, executions, true crime etc and that’s why this book caught my eye! Now once I started reading and it mentioned the prisons in huntsville, TX and Livingston, TX i was HOOKED. I automatically knew I was going to finish this- bc I lived in huntsville for 7 years and worked in Livingston at times, I loved that I actually knew the prisons in the story! I geeked a little!
⭐️⭐️⭐️.5- Horrorstör was very unique! The concept of it being written like a catalog was great! It catches your attention quick in that aspect. It was so immersive! I loved how it felt a lot like a parody of IKEA. All the little jokes and references about Orsk are laughable because you immediately think about IKEA. I loved that.
⭐️⭐️⭐️.5- This book took off quickly! It had me turning pages so fast, but the further I got into the book the slower the storyline got. It was definitely focused on character development. The closer I got to the ending, the storyline fizzled out. I did enjoy the plot, and the book overall wasn’t terrible, and the bond between the two sisters we depicted very well- however it did not live up to it’s potential.
