I very much enjoyed this book, there were twists I didn’t see coming.
I can’t say much without spoiling it but if you like a thriller, pick this one up.
I dropped a star as I felt the pacing got a bit ploddy towards the halfway mark. Other than that I loved it 😍

No star rating as it’s a memoir.

What a life. Surprised she made it into her seventies with how she spent her teens and twenties.

I’ve long been a fan of The Pretenders. I put of reading this for almost ten years as the saying goes, don’t meet your idols, that often goes for reading about them too.

I will always be the lass on the front row 🎸😎

This book wasn’t for me. I liked the beginning, I liked the end, but the middle dragged. I was bored 🥱

I dint enjoy this one as much as the others in the series. Rhiannon has lost her edge 😔
The were whole chapters were nothing happened and they were long chapters too 🤦🏼‍♀️
Still readable but not as much fun.

Molly irritated the life out of me. Both adult Molly and child Molly 😤😠
The world didn’t need this book. It was repetitive and boring.
All Molly’s grans sayings were repeated over and over. The plot was weak and dragged. It would have made a better novella by cutting out a couple of hundred pages.

I’m disappointed. I went into this with high hopes and it wasn’t what I wanted.  I love hysterical fiction but this just didn’t do it for me at all. It was dull and repetitive, if you have a thing for Shakespeare you may love it, but for me 🥱
I did like the plague era, I have always enjoyed reading about the Black Death but there are better out there than this.
I realise also that I’m on my own with my opinions, everyone else seems to be loving it 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m not sure how they’ve made a full length film out of this book. It’s very short and nothing happens.

A fun read, relatable characters, ending felt a bit rushed.

This was just okay, didn’t love it, didn’t hate it.
It was fast paced with short chapters, which I love.
The story was predictable, the description of fog was overdone. Describe it and leave it alone. This would have been a novella if you removed all the fog descriptions 🤦🏼‍♀️
It all went a bit clunky just past the half way mark, oh and I didn’t like the ending much 🤷🏼‍♀️
