My favorite part of this book is seeing the evolution of the man we see so casually strolling through kitchen around the world and fluidly interacting with so many cultures. This was a little more crass than I imagined it would be, at times reading like a rock-star's biography. The stories, while lurid, were immensely enthralling and seamlessly offered numerous cooking tips for those interested
