Fred and Byron are super cute!! I fell in love with this story and it is a great friends-enemies romance as well as fake-dating and grumpy-sunshine! I would say it reminds me of an Emily Henry mixed with Ali Hazelwood, and the only reason I give it 3 rather than 4 or 5 is because of the end. While it isn’t a bad ending, I felt like there would be so much better if I heard more about the happy ending at the end. I wanted like 50 more pages or so, it wasn’t like i didn’t want the book to end - more like it wrapped up way to quickly.
That all being said, I love the story and it really taught me about the what love is and means. So cute!!

Luz is a woman ahead of her time and Evan is up for the challenge. The tension is excellent, and the uncertainty of feelings, this book gets to me! It took me a little to get into, which might be more cause I was reading the Twisted series, but once I did (and had time to reflect), I loved this story. Evan is a romantic at heart, and Luz is a strong, independent woman "who don't need no man"! The whiplash of emotions is spot on! And the ending, while of course predictable, also threw some curve balls. I didn't give it a 5 because it took me a bit to get into, but when I re-read this book, I might update my rating.
Olive and Ethan are an enemies-to-lovers classic. Olive is a twin and her sister gets married to Ethan's brother, but after some crazy events at the wedding (for romance reasons), they take the honeymoon trip. Lots of shenanigans ensue and slowly, they start to open up to each other. After they get back home (to Minnesota), Olive discovers that Dan (Ethan's brother) is a total dick (her hits on her) and in a pivotal moment, Ethan doesn't believe Olive! Then Ami doesn't believe Olive. This is a turmoil book and I really appreciate the small details about MN! Feel-good, ups-downs, and of course a happy ending!
Olive (Ol) and Adam are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! My absolute favorite grumpy-sunshine book!! This is the book that really got me back into reading. I read it while finishing my PhD in the STEM field and totally felt like (outside the romance) I really could understand Ol and totally relate! The fake/real-relationship between Ol and Adam pull me in right away. While I understand that some may have trouble with the student professor relationship, I felt like I could separate it because Adam is so respectful! Love love love!! Can’t say it enough!
Lina and Adam are so cute, sexy, and pinning!! From Lina's point of view, we see their co-worker relationship nemeses to lovers' romance. Adam's been secretly pining for Lina since starting at InTech, while Lina thinks that Adam hates her. There is a lot of tension build-up that is VERY VERY much rewarded in the end!!
Georgie and Levi are so excellent. They are the people that others count out, but they are amazing humans. They build a fantastic relationship to last; it isn't perfect, but it grows and changes as they learn more about each other and themselves. Plus, Georgie's parents are SO SO SO loving and accepting - knowing when to step in but also when to stay out! They are the parents that you want in your life!! This felt more like a life book and less like a romance! There is fire but so much tenderness; it totally gave me all the feels!!
Chloe & Red are such a cute couple. I'm not sure which trope this really meets, but maybe enemies-to-lovers. Red has some trust issues and Chloe is learning to be independent (again). Chloe has chronic pain and Red is so patient/kind. And their third meet-cute with Smudge, so funny!
A great book to finish out the Twisted Series. Christian and Stella, the steamy protector romance! Christian is drawn to Stella initially but doesn't believe in love. Stella has always been independent, and while she is an influencer, she is also very private. When Stella's old stalker emerges from the woodwork, Christian swoops in to protect her. I liked the book, but the twist at the end was a little underwhelming for me (hence the 4-stars). Plus, the final epilogue at the end is a fun way to tie all the books back together!
Olivia attracts back luck, while Colin is all put together. Olivia moves into Colin's home office after a burning down her apartment building following a bad luck day! Colin is Olivia's brothers best friend from grade school, he agrees to let her stay. For romance reasons, Mr Wrong Number texts Olivia and they quickly become best friends. Colin and Olivia's attraction and relationship also grows. And... you can guess what happens next. Super cute book and very easy read.
Margot and Luke are very cute and both have imposter syndrome! The date in secret from their family (not their friends), and the attraction starts at the beginning. They have sex on the first night and then the next morning Luke shows up to his first job and finds out Margot is his new boss. The attraction continues but they don’t act until after Luke quits for personal reasons.
