Cecilia travels across the ocean to find her brother but when she arrives she finds Edward (Thomas's good friend) injured. He needs her help, so she tells everyone they are married. They've corresponded through letters between Cecilia and Thomas, and when Edward awakens he's forgotten the past 4-months. She keeps up the ruse so that she can use Edwards's good name to help her in the search for Thomas. Immediate attraction turns to love and so much more, but Cecilia fears Thomas doesn't feel the same (or won't once he finds out the truth). Such a good historical romance!!
Cute and easy read, nothing too steamy but I do like the relationship building in it
Love the idea of a bromance book club, and that was right on point! Gavin and Thea are struggling after marrying quick, they love each other dearly but love isn’t all that matters! In this book they learn how to communicate with each other and work their way back together!
Bonny and Flower are cute. The chase for Bonny’s sister was entertaining and I did like this book overall, but in the end I felt like something was missing. That being said, the historical gay romance was a fun to read.
What a cute story about Lila learning about love while on her honeymoon by herself (after leaving her ex-fiance at the altar). She meets Freddie and thinks he is the bartender, a few days later she realizes he is the sexiest man (recently the start of a BDSM movie). He helps her out and they learn a lot about one another. This is a cute, simple story! So happy I can listen to it again on Audible.
Love Felicity and Devil!! It took a while to get into, but after a couple chapters I couldn’t put it down!
Bee and Levi start out making you think this will be an enemies to lovers book, when in reality it is a second chance in the making. Levi struggled to express his feelings when he was younger (plus being around Bee’s asshole ex doesn’t help), when he gets a second chance with Bee all you can do is root for them! Plus, as a fellow STEM PhD in the biomedical science world I really appreciate the backstory. I love Ali Hazelwood and the way she builds a story!!
