It's literally about people standing in an endless queue but I really really liked this book.

As a person who is undecided about kids I'm glad this book exists. Although this is written by a person who is childfree by choice, I think this would be a good read no matter where you are on the parenthood spectrum.

I read this so I could watch the show, which turns out to be wayy different from the book. There isn't much of a plot but I enjoyed the exploration of how different people cope with a collective traumatic event. Interesting to see the parallels with how society has responded to the pandemic.

The first book was dark but still a fun adventure whereas this one felt really bleak and unnecessarily violent. I'm sure I'll eventually finish the series but I don't think I'm ready for more death, torture, and misfortune anytime soon... I did read it in 2 days but I'm not sure if it's because I was gripped by the story or because I wanted to get it over with.

A bit dark for my liking but I had a good time reading this book and it hooked me enough to immediately start the next one.

Itselleni tässä ei tullut mitään uutta enkä usko että tämä tulee jäämään mieleen, mutta ihan hyvä lukea aiheesta vaihteeksi suomeksi.

this book had a lot of potential, but it just fell flat for me. I liked the plot and the premise but the "big reveals" seemed pretty obvious.
