Trick Mirror: Reflections on Self-Delusion by Jia Tolentino

Tolentino grew up very privileged and it shows through her writing. She considers herself progressive yet she's a cop sympathizer in one essay, belittles the experiences of sexual assault survivors in another, and is pro-Clinton in one final essay. I liked her essay on Pure Heroines the best, and I think she should stick to literary criticism.
