I'm *loving* this book so far, and I'm halfway through. It so refreshing to have the 3rd book in a series be just as good if not better than the first two. A total treat. I wish I could savour every moment of the next half of the book but I won't be able to resist inhaling it in one fell swoop!

Finished it and totally loved it. Great third book in the series, and love that it nicely completes the trilogy. Awesome.

This one was better than the 5th in the series (Hunted) and I'll admit I'm mostly reading now because I want to know what happens and I'm a completist, but I'm reading more for that over about the characters.

Persistent from past several books: very little time passes over the 300 pages, getting a little tired of same phrases/descriptions used over and over (brown pop, 'cocky grin', etc.) and some characters seem quite different than they were in previous books. Like one of the earlier books where I feel like I know where it's going, but it's not there yet (again, not much 'happens'). But, it was better than I expected and wish it had more content.

Title is a little mystifying though, not really sure what is is referencing. The only thing that makes sense wasn't really a temptation.

Oh - and Aphrodite ROCKS. Love her.

Another great novel in the Vampire Academy series, took me a bit to get back into it but actually ended up being my favourite of the series so far. It kept surprizing me along the way took, which was refreshing! Although now I have a sense of where it's going, but that is the lovely thing about the books - they do lead into each other but certainly have the own journeys to themselves. Looking forward to book #4!

Also - this one gets extra points for the inclusion of accurate interpretation of tarot cards. Way to represent!
