Cute book. Exactly what you'd expect for a paranormal second chance romance. Really enjoyable, sassy female main character.

The banter! I am coming to find that I am a HUGE sucker for witty banter. This book has it in spades. The story wasn't just a romance in the traditional sense but also had a lot of family focused plot. There was navigating grief and change and just growing. Additionally there were interesting comments on what society expects a woman. But really what got me was the banter. I just love banter so much! And if you love banter don't walk, run to read this book.
